All in

I am so thankful for everyone who bought my new book, One Size Fits All: How to Wear God’s Word, last week on Amazon. It was ranked #15 in my genre (woo hoo) and has given me a great start on the books I will donate to the women’s prison ministry. I can’t wait until all the arrangements are final so I can share the details. God is definitely at work.

So, as a thank you, I want to introduce you to someone who will be a blessing to you. Lisa Buffaloe is a fellow author, blogger, and lover of God. She shares her life lessons with such transparency that you can’t help but see yourself in them. The blog I’m sharing with you today is a perfect example of an imperfect Christ follower. I know you’ll be challenged.

ALL IN
By Lisa Buffaloe

I messed up. I had sent a friend a possible devotion for her site, and I realized I can do better. I can give more. I can open my heart fully and let the love of The Father pour through my feeble soul. God has called me to write, blog, and share the testimonies of other to a hurting and lost world. And at times I step tentative, pull back, or go with what is easy instead of diving in deep.

I asked my Father for forgiveness. I wrote and asked for her forgiveness. And I ask the same of you, please forgive me.

I want to be ALL IN.

All in to share my Father’s love. All in to do my best through God’s power, grace, mercy, and strength.
I want to offer my best to Him. I don’t want to lose sight of God and my calling. And the only way I can keep my focus on Him is spending time with Him and His word.

All in means living in the now – not in the past or the future. Living in the moment with our God who is the great I AM. He is here, now. Don’t lose your moment.

Be All In with The One who is ALL.

“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP).

Prodigal Nights
For two returning prodigals will the challenge to live “good” withstand the allure to be bad?

After a nasty divorce, Bethany Davis returned to college and lived up to the low standards set by gossips. Her dad’s stroke has now brought her home, and Bethany finds herself in a dilemma—how can she get beyond her past, learn to trust again, and live a “good” life?

Bethany’s father’s involvement in the defense industry adds excitement to her expectation of a boring life back home. However, bodyguards, stalkers, and international secrets are the least of her problems—opening her heart to trust again is a totally different matter. And the mutual attraction with her new team leader, Jason Ross, spells the possibility of big-time heart trouble.

Jason’s days of wild living are over, and he’s determined to prove to himself and God that he’s on the right path. When Bethany steps into his office, he sees the girl of his dreams, but is she God’s gift or Satan’s temptress?

You said, "All in means living in the now - not in the past or the future. Living in the moment with our God who is the great I AM. He is here. Now. Don't lose your moment. Don't lose sight of Him."

You floored me, What a Message!
None of us know if there will be a tomorrow, so "Don't lose your moment"...My sister I have read and sat under some of the best teachers and preachers in the world, won't drop names here but I will tell you some of them are or were very well known, and were or are very good friends to me, some were or are my hero's. And I don't recall any of them, myself included, ever saying a truth anymore profound than this.
God Bless You, You have fed my soul!
